Our Client
Our client is one of the largest fuel distribution companies within the UK, and ever growing. The Stock Inventory Analyst will be responsible for the timely and accurate reconciliation of all physical fuel transactions that take place daily within the operational network.
This role involves close liaison with the Team Manager for the department and Operations management ensuring all fuel transactions are accurate in order for the business to invoice our customers and reconcile stock inventory.
The focus of this role is to administer all transactions with accuracy whilst ensuring depot gains and losses are minimized through working practices and collaboration with Operations Management.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurate input of depot storage dips and ensuring product left on board vehicles is accurate against driver reconciliation
- Plays a vital role in stock anomaly investigation in conjunction with Operational Management
- All stock reconciliation to be completed within regional stock reconciliation SLAs set by Head of Inventory Accounting
- Accurate stock reconciliations daily to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the business on an ongoing basis
- Accurate entry of data and maintaining the integrity of records
- Liaising regularly with Operational staff to ensure accurate usage of delivery confirmation procedures through online tracking reports and fleet automation processes
- Report any anomalies or inconsistencies to the Team Manager and Head of Inventory Accounting upon realization in stock variances and explore all avenues to find the anomaly
Key Performance Measures
- Delivery of stock loss / gain results
- Favorable to budget
- Within GPO loss / gain tolerances
- Full depot reconciliation is carried out on day + 1 for the previous day
- Any losses identified will have a full and thorough investigation carried out which will be signed off by the Team Manager, Inventory Specialist or Head of Inventory Accounting
