UKIFDA Expo & Conference 2026: A Fantastic Experience for Aim Recruit

The UKIFDA Expo & Conference 2026 delivered exactly what the industry needed — collaboration, innovation, insight and meaningful conversations about the future of liquid fuel distribution.

Held at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool on 15–16 April, the event brought together distributors, suppliers, innovators and industry leaders from across the UK, all focused on this year’s theme: Shaping the Future of Liquid Fuels.

As proud sponsors of the event, Aim Recruit was delighted to be part of such an important occasion for the sector.

A Brilliant Opportunity to Connect

For Noz and the Aim Recruit team, one of the biggest highlights of the event was the opportunity to connect with so many professionals from across the industry.

Over the two days, Noz spoke with an incredible number of attendees, from independent distributors and national companies to suppliers, technology providers and industry partners. The conversations were insightful, engaging and full of optimism about where the sector is heading.

The event created the perfect environment for genuine face-to-face networking, something that remains incredibly valuable in an industry built on strong relationships and collaboration.

Industry Innovation on Display

UKIFDA 2026 showcased just how much the liquid fuel distribution sector is evolving.

From cutting-edge technology and data-driven software solutions to discussions around sustainability, low-carbon fuels and operational efficiency, there was a real sense of momentum throughout the conference and exhibition.

It was clear that businesses across the sector are embracing innovation while continuing to focus on supporting rural homes, farms, businesses and local communities throughout the UK.

The conference sessions also provided valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities facing the industry as infrastructure evolves and the energy transition accelerates.

The Importance of People in a Changing Industry

One of the key takeaways for Aim Recruit was the growing importance of people and talent within the sector.

As businesses adapt to new technologies, regulations and customer demands, having the right teams in place has never been more important.

Throughout the event, there were countless conversations around recruitment, skills shortages, workforce development and attracting the next generation of talent into the industry.

At Aim Recruit, we are passionate about supporting businesses with the people they need to grow, adapt and succeed, and UKIFDA 2026 reinforced just how important that support will be in the years ahead.

A Fantastic Experience

Beyond the conference and exhibition itself, the overall atmosphere throughout the event was fantastic.

From the networking opportunities and social events to the openness of conversations across the industry, there was a real sense of community and shared ambition.

For Noz and the Aim Recruit team, it was a truly positive experience and one we were proud to be part of.

We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to speak with us during the event and the UKIFDA team for organising such a successful conference.

We’re already looking forward to continuing the conversations, building new relationships and supporting the future of the industry long after the event has finished.

Looking Ahead

UKIFDA Expo & Conference 2026 proved once again why it is such an important event for the liquid fuel distribution sector.

As the industry continues to evolve, events like this provide an essential platform for collaboration, innovation and knowledge sharing.

Aim Recruit is proud to support the sector and excited about what the future holds.

If we connected with you during the event, thank you. And if we didn’t get the chance this time, we’d still love to hear from you.
