HGV Class 1 Fuel Tanker Driver
You will be responsible for the safe delivery of various fuels to commercial customer sites in line with the companies delivery procedures across a geographical area. You must be committed to delivering first class customer service and represent the company in a professional and polite manner at all times.
Reporting to the Local Logistic Manager you will be working :-
- A rotating Dayshift / Nightshift pattern.
- 4am starts on days , 4pm on Nights
- Approx 9.5 hours per shift
Role and Responsibilities include:
Delivery of fuel to Commercial & Retail Customer sites.
Loading and making deliveries in a safe and professional manner
Adhering to both legal and Company policies at all times and ensuring that all vehicle checks are completed, and defects are reported in a timely manner
The delivery of quality customer service whilst demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude
Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures at all times
To safely operate the vehicle and depot equipment as required, following standard procedures at all times.
To build effective relationships with internal colleagues across the business to ensure smooth operations
Accurate completion of all delivery paperwork
Essential Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
Full UK with LGV Cat C+E and a minimum of two years commercial Class 1 driving experience
Current ADR Class 3 with tanks & Petroleum Drivers Passport
Valid and up to date CPC and Digi Card
Previous experience as a Fuel Tanker Driver
A good understanding of driver regulations and the Working Time Directive Skills and Digital Tacho Cards
Must be professional, flexible and self-motivated
Basic IT knowledge is required as you will be operating in cab technology
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £47,000.00-£54,000.00 per year
